What time does La Gala begin?

Join us for our reception at 5PM. Dinner and our program will start at 7PM.

What will La Gala be like?

Surrounded by friends, family, and our vibrant Hacienda community, we’ll come together for an unforgettable evening honoring the richness of our Latino heritage.

Our night begins with a celebration of Día de los muertos—you’re invited to add a personal touch to our stunning ofrenda, sip on festive drinks, enjoy delicious appetizers, and mingle with community.

Then at 7PM, we’ll gather in the grand ballroom for a beautifully curated three-course dinner inspired by Latino flavors, followed by an engaging program featuring live performances, reflections from CEO Ernesto Fonseca, and a special keynote speaker Dolores Huerta!

La Gala is a joyful, heartfelt evening to celebrate all of you who make our work possible. We can’t wait to share this night with you.

What type of food and drinks will be served?

Our hosted bars will offer beer, wine, a specialty cocktail and non-alcoholic beverages. We’ll share Latino-inspired appetizers during the reception and enjoy a 3-course dinner including dessert. Gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options will be available, please inquire with your server.

What should I wear to La Gala?

This is a night of elegance—whatever that means to you. If you have formal wear to celebrate your own culture, we would love to see it.

• Convention Center Max Light Rail Station (Red, Green, and Blue Lines)
• Located off Hotel’s Southeast Plaza (MLK and Holladay)
• Portland Streetcar B Loop – Located three block Northeast of Hotel on NE Broadway & Grand Ave
• Portland Streetcar A Loop – Located two blocks Northeast of Hotel on NE Weidler & Grand Ave
• Uber, Lyft, and Other Ride Share Services – Hotel has a designated pick up and drop off located on the Hotel’s front drive
• Portland Int’l Airport – TriMet Train Red Max Line

Where can I park?

Street parking and paid lots are available near the venue. Please observe the posted time limits.

Can I bring children?

This event is appropriate for adults and older teens.

What are the accessibility features that will be available at La Gala?

The Hyatt is an ADA-accessible venue. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to elevate your evening with us.

How can I donate to Hacienda at the event?

You will be asked for your credit card during the registration process when you arrive to start a tab. You will then be provided a bid paddle to make any donations or purchases. The credit card on file will be charged at the end of the night to include all of your purchases. You will only be charged for what you spend. You will be emailed your receipt, or we can print one for you that night. You can also bring a check or cash to pay for purchases at checkout.
